Personal Training at REsurge Clinic

Team Up With A Trainer & Live A Healthier Life

Whether you’re struggling with health issues, unhappy with your weight, or just want to get back into shape, exercise is crucial to living a long, fulfilling life.

Unfortunately, following a fitness routine on your own can be a challenge. Big gyms are intimidating. It’s easy to feel judged, especially if you aren’t confident in your appearance or fitness ability.

Working with a personal trainer at The Resurge Clinic is different. Your workout is tailored to your skill set and level of athleticism. You don’t have to feel insecure about where you are, and you’ll see an improvement in your health, increased mobility, and the development of permanent lean muscle.

On top of that, personal trainers provide you with the motivation and encouragement to keep going. They help you think positively and reset your mind so “I can’t do it” becomes “What can’t I do?”

No Machines Used

Workout equipment can be overwhelming and dangerous if used incorrectly. Our fitness routines are machine-free and can be done anywhere. All you need to lose pounds and build endurance are free weights, bands, kettlebells, and your own body weight.

Focus On Mobility

Most personal trainers focus on “strength.” Although strength is a beneficial byproduct from regular exercise, we’ve found that mobility is more crucial to everyday life. By building your mobility, you can complete tasks, run errands, and even strengthen your muscles with ease.

Personalized Coaching

There is no one-size-fits-all exercise program. You’re unique, and your fitness routine should be, too. Our trainers work with you to address your specific problem areas and build training programs around your personal strengths and weaknesses.

Tara McCall

Certified personal trainer Tara McCall began her career as a group fitness instructor. She specializes in small group training and program design. Although she has been in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years, her passion for personal training started much earlier — when she led Jane Fonda workouts with her mother at age 3 and Strawberry Shortcake aerobics with her sister at age 5.

Tara loves people and strives to help them become the healthiest versions of themselves. Her passion for wellness has helped hundreds of men and women reach their fitness goals. Her mission is to bring out the best in her clients and to set them up for success so they can continue to become stronger, healthier, and happier for years to come.

“It’s so much more than fitness. I love helping people believe in themselves and see their true potential. I love the relationships I make — and seeing clients achieve what they initially thought was impossible.”

After several years of teaching pre-choreographed group fitness classes, Tara designed her own hybrid/integrated training class. A few years later, she helped create a small group training program for a small group of gyms in Dallas/Fort Worth. She designed and managed the program for over a year before starting Tara McCall Fitness, where she offers training, consulting, accountability, and program design services.
